Trimble recently announced that the Norwegian Public Road Administration (NPRA) Operations and Maintenance has chosen the company’s AgileAssets transportation asset lifecycle management program to maintain, operate and preserve the country’s 10,000-km (6586.5-mi) road network and related transportation infrastructure, accounting for about 15% of the nation’s total roadways. This program supplements Trimble’s Quadri software, a cloud-based Building Information Modeling (BIM) collaboration solution for infrastructure projects already in use at the NPRA. By utilizing these two technologies in tandem, it will allow the agency to enhance the effectiveness and fidelity of data across the entire asset lifecycle, drive sustainability efforts, and inform decisions on future challenges and opportunities.
